TechEd 2008 Orlando

30 05 2008

I was just jamming the last stuff into my suitcase for the 13 hour trip to Orlando tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to next week’s TechEd Developers North America. There is a nice lineup of sessions and of course the location is not bad at all. A friend has already pointed out the best bars and clubs, so I’ll guess it will be more than just "tech-ing".

This time around, I have absolutely no clue whatsoever who will and won’t be going. So  if you are reading this and also heading for Orlando, leave me a message.

But, as for most conferences, I just hope to meet a lot of new interesting people from all over the world. I find other peoples thoughts so refreshing imageand interesting, it really helps me keep the world in some kind of focus :)

One thing I had forgotten is that the weather over there is 30, instead of the 20 degrees that it is here right now. So I’m going to run to the stores right now and by me some shorts and short sleeve shirts or I’ll die in my normal outfit :-)

UPDATE: Just checked the weather forecast, it will be 30 degrees and raining :(

I will try to keep you posted with some nice pictures and maybe even some "juicy" stories ;-)

Stay in the light!

I was just reading trough all the sessions, and I realy can’t wait to go.

I do have to find a way to clone myself by the way. There are an average of 4 interesting sessions at the same time.

Luckily for me every session will be recorded and put on the end of every day put on the Mix site. So even the when you are not going you don’t have to miss anything, well exept Vegas ofcourse ;-).

If you have not yet heard about what is going to happen at vegas read the following great blog posts from ScottGu:

Keep you posted. Especially keep an eye on the new pictures page!.

Envision event in Milan

  • nederlands
15 01 2008

Tonight at nine, i’m flying to Milan for the Microsoft Envision Event. The primary goal of the event is to bring together developers and designer from across Europe to discuss the future of Digital Communication. I was honoured to be invited to attend this promising event.

I’m very much looking forward meeting the Silverlight and Expression teams, and of course the Panel discussions on stage.

But most of all I’m looking forward to the discussions that i will hopefully have with all the other participants from across Europe and learn what their vision is on where we are and where we are going.

I’ll try to keep you posted the next few days, and hopefully post some nice pictures of the event.

If you are reading this and are also heading for milan, this is what i look like, see you there!
